Chief Financial Officer

Woodard Properties is a locally owned property management and development company whose core purpose is “to improve the quality of working and living in our community.” We are seeking one special person to be the Chief Financial Officer of our company. The essence of this position is to plan and manage all of the company’s finances to ensure the overall financial success and stability of the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all of the day-to-day operations relating to financial reporting, accounting operations and human resource procedures for Woodard Properties. This includes annual budget planning and preparation, monthly financial analysis and reporting, year-end audit of financials, assessing and negotiating financing and insurance needs, accounts receivable and accounts payable oversight, evaluation of systems and procedures, human resource oversight, and working closely with the leadership team to create and monitor company goals.

The CFO is also responsible for leading and developing a team of five professionals to ensure their growth and success. This position will report directly to the Owner/CEO and work closely with the Directors and Managers.

Qualified candidates will need to have extensive experience in managing financial operations, analyzing data, leading teams to successful outcomes and strong interpersonal communication skills. This role also requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 10-plus years of related experience.
