2021 Fireworks

Posted on: Jul 02, 2021

Last year during the 4th of July, we were amid a global pandemic which, for many, meant no cookouts, no socializing, and sadly, no fireworks. This year, we can happily celebrate America’s 245th Birthday, and we’re ready to see some fireworks! Below is a list of some local spots where you are guaranteed to catch some fire in the sky.

Carter Mountain is hosting a “Happy Birthday America” event, where you can catch a fabulous fireworks show atop the mountain overlooking Charlottesville. Enjoy live music, local food from Vision BBQ106 Street Food, and Heard, plus all of their other sweet treats. Adult beverages are also available.

Claudius Crozet Park’s small annual Independence Day tradition is back this year! Join the fun on Saturday, July 3rd, by attending the parade at 5 pm and the fireworks at 9:30 pm.

The Independence Day Celebration is returning on Sunday, July 4th, in Greene County. The parade begins at 5 pm, followed by; live music, activities for the kids, food trucks, and finally, the Capitol Sheds Fireworks Display.

Graves Mountain Lodge in Madison County is hosting a fireworks event complete with live music, pony rides, kettle corn, donuts, and ice cream. Festivities will be on the 4th, beginning at 4 pm.

Wherever you plan to celebrate this 4th of July, Woodard Properties wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday!
