Maintenance Technician
($24 – $28 per hour plus exceptional bonus plans)
Woodard Properties, a locally owned property management and development company in Charlottesville, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Team!
The person in this role will provide general maintenance services for our residential and commercial properties located throughout our community.
Woodard Properties provides a company vehicle, tools, and supplies.
Work hours are generally 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry
- After-hours on-call rotation approximately 6 weeks per year
- Assist with inclement weather preparedness and snow/ice removal when needed
- Assist in other aspects of property management as needed
Summary of Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial/residential experience in repairs, service & maintenance
- Proven experience and understanding of commercial and residential systems
- Proven track record of professionalism and providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work off ladders, in tight spaces, and on roofs
- An eagerness to share maintenance knowledge and train peers
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable background check (No DUI or reckless convictions within the past 3 years)
