Three employees from Woodard Properties volunteered last week on the day before Thanksgiving at Loaves & Fishes in Charlottesville. The goal of Loaves & Fishes is to give food with kindness and compassion to those seeking assistance while providing an opportunity for volunteers to serve their neighbors in Charlottesville and surrounding communities. They provide groceries at no cost to low-income families within and are always in need of volunteers and food/money donations to continue to serve the hungry in our community. It was a joyful and busy day at the food pantry with over 400 families benefiting from the volunteers’ efforts. We had a great time!
