Keeping the Leasing Office HOT During the Polar Vortex

What is a “Polar Vortex,” anyway? According to CNN’s senior meteorologist, it is a “circulation of strong, upper-level winds that normally surround the northern pole in a counterclockwise direction.” Basically, this bitterly frigid weather traveled down from the nether-regions up North to make us, and much of our North American neighbors, abnormally cold. As temperatures slowly climb from the single digits back up to the teens, you gotta do what you gotta do to stay warm… like stash a space heater under your desk and come to terms with an increase in your next electric bill, layer long john’s beneath your business casual attire at the risk of looking a little puffier than usual, or do some heavy lifting and completely rearrange your office!

That’s right, we stayed warm during yesterday’s icy cold morning by clearing out filing cabinets (who needs ’em when you’ve gone paperless?) and re-positioning huge wooden desks at jaunty angles (ok, our fabulous facilities guys did most of the heavy lifting, but their energy really warmed up the office).

Come by for a hot cup of coffee and check out our new digs! We think you’ll really like the “flow.”
