We had the wonderful pleasure of sending a group of volunteers to the Local Food Hub for the third time yesterday. What a beautiful day it was on this scenic and innovative farm! Because of our mission to “improve living and working in our community,” we at Woodard Properties wholeheartedly support the Local Food Hub’s mission to “improve small farm viability and increase community access to local food,” with the ultimate goal of developing a sustainable local food distribution model in Charlottesville. Also, it’s just fun for us to get out of the office on a sunny day and get dirty!
